Terrie Lea - Lead Vocals and Percussion

Terrie Lea is a 14 time Detroit Music Award winner including outstanding country vocalist in 2004, 2005, 2006 and received the honorary award in this category in 2007! Terrie began her love for music singing with her daddy at backyard barbecues, benefits and clubs at the age of 4.


Terrie lea has since worked in the studio with Loretta Lynn's band, The Vandellas, and many others. She performed at the 17th, 19th 22nd and 25th       
annual Detroit downtown Hoe-down, appeared on WCXI radio with the legendary CMA award winning radio personality Deano Day, (Terrie was asked, personally, by Deano's wife to sing at his funeral earlier this year) appeared on WJR radio with talk radio personality Mitch Albom, The radio Lia show scoring a "Hit" on her hit or miss call in show and sang at one of the Detroit areas premiere venues, Freedom Hill.


In 2004 Terrie appeared with Dreamworks artist's Tracy Lawrence and Jimmy Wayne. In 2005 Terrie appeared with Gretchen Wilson at Detroit's downtown hoedown and Leann Rimes at the Clio Amphitheater. Terrie has also performed with The Detroit Women, They have been seen singing the National Anthem at Comerica Park and many other venues in and around the Detroit area. In 2006 Terrie snagged the staring roll of Krissi McGregor, a sassy southern gal who leaves a trail of men behind her, in the play "we are not good girls".


She has recorded in Nashville with the legendary song writer/producer Charlie Craig, and has been asked to sing on several CD projects including the legendary Roy Young, Terrie has toured with Shawn Barker and is currently writing a play, working with her band Terrie Lea & The Mustangs, Rhythm 21, Motor City Women and Elstan Gunn's Tribute to Johnny Cash.
