Bob is one of Rhythm 21's newest members - and definitely drives the group's dance grove!

Bob is definitely "all about bass".  He started on the instrument back in 4th grade, majored in bass performance at Youngstown State University in his hometown of Youngstown, OH. and attended the Bass Collective Music School in New York City.   

He toured the eastern half of the country with Crush (a Dave Matthews tribute band before moving to Detroit in 2001.  Bob's talents are always in demand here in Motown filling in with a number of groups in addition to his work with Rhythm 21.

Here in Detroit, Bob works by day at a boutique music store that caters to the working bass player and teaches bass and piano at the Axis Music Academy. 

With musical influences like Duck Dunn and Motown's legendary James Jamerson, it's not hard to see where Bob gets his groove from!
